The floating book fair – Logos Hope

I have to say nothing drives me into a bigger frenzy than a good book fair. So it stands to reason that I love Logos Hope.

In all seriousness it’s great, the books are great, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere is unforgettable. A bit of a warning though, come early because it gets really crowded really fast.

Their cafe is good too. Coffee is decent and ice-cream is great. Croissants were great too. Sadly I wasn’t able to try out the bagel. Maybe next time!

All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I even got to play a game of chess; I lost (badly).

  1. I made the mistake of going on a Saturday.
The queue was a 1.75 hour affair in the sun.
By the time i got into the belly of the beast, i couldnt wait to leave!
It was too packed to leisurely browse the shelves..
Ofcourse this is no reflection on the staff etc
Either way i satisfied my nostalgia…
